These old world grapes were grown in france and brought to the historic Napa Valley for vinification, The result is inky ruby red color, with aromas of cassis, black current, graphite, tobacco leaf, and brown spice with hints of toasty oak. Flavors of concentrated blackberry fruit that is complimented by well balanced oak, and espresso bean. The wine has a rich full bodied texture that finishes with softy yet chewy tannins.
