Throughout this wine we deliver intense concentrated layers of ripe fruit; bright and lively black cherry, currant, cocoa and plum on the seductively silky palate. Deep umami flavors served up with anise, cinnamon and a hint of licorice on a platter of ultra rich, creamy oak and mouth watering tannins adding to the luxurious finish.

Aged in French & Hungarian Oak
Total Production: 479 Dense ruby/purple in color with aromatic red, black and blue fruits leaping out of the glass. This multi-dimensional wine opens to plump blackberry on the layered palate, added complexity is provided by black licorice, clove, anise, pepper, cinnamon and cocoa with hints of roasted coffee and smoky earthy nuances on the lush extended finish.

100% Zinfandel ~Alviso Vinyard, Amador County, Certified organic vineyard
19 months on Oak~ Non-malolactic 895 cases made Blackberry, cocoa, sassafras, brambleberry, black cherry cola, anise, a dollop of vanilla creme and spicy French plum with fleshy tannins that provide a long smooth finish that lingers. Power and finesse. Harvested by flavors not sugar, our zinfandel boasts ripeness together with acidity to liven it up and carry a refreshing finish. A cool fermentation and no malolactic fermentation adds to the charm of this distinctive Zinfandel to create the style of wines we want to produce: Rich, ripe and refreshing.

Barrel Fermented Sur Lie Aged for 18 Months Hungarian & French Oak
Total Production: 358 C 2007 Chardonnay Ghisletta Vineyard Silky spun gold hue with hints of lavender and caramelized apricots lead into a perfectly balanced mouth feel with a tantalizing soft hint of cream. Fresh summer green apples are laced with grapefruit notes midpalate that glide over your tongue and develop into a clean, crisp and surprisingly refreshing finish. Enough structure to stand up to an array of foods and enough elegance to represent itself as a World Class Wine of Napa Valley.
